Planning and Zoning

We came across an interesting article by Bruce Lindgren, titled “Air Power,” that we’d like to share with our blog readers. The author, who neither supports nor opposes the Shadow Wood Landing development, believes that those charged with making zoning decisions “should vigorously defend the integrity of the planning process.”

Lindgren says that “A Land Use Plan was adopted by the Bayfield County Board in 2003. Development of a Comprehensive Plan is currently underway. Both efforts should be honored as controversy swirls amidst the proposed development.”

It is paramount that those making zoning decisions use the plans that the County residents have expended money, time, and a lot of effort, to craft.
