On February 1, at 8:15 am, Judge Anderson will hear oral arguments and make a decision in the case of Bayfield County Committee for Responsible Land Use et al vs. Bayfield County.
The Bayfield County Board is, ultimately, responsible for making an informed, independent determination on rezone requests, and may not simply defer to the Town Board. The County Board is held accountable for the protection of County lands, wetlands, navigable streams, and, in this case, a protected Class I trout stream. Our Board must not be allowed to abdicate its responsibilities.
Join us February 1st at 8:15 am in the Bayfield County Courthouse.
